8.4 Million Manifestations

In the cosmic life cycle we have a total of 8.4 million manifestations during which every soul atman is expected to liberate itself forever from the cycle of birth and death! The moment human beings reached the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... all is over for the soul atman within!

Out of the total 8.4 million manifestations in the life cycle of the soul atman... the initial 7.3 million manifestations are spent as insect, plant and animal life. The remaining 1.1 million manifestations are in the human form. This simply means in the human form one has a total of 1.1 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million years to reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

In whatever stage of life human beings is... one can switchover to the last manifestation... the 8.4 millionth manifestation by practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation! On the spiritual path one can always take a quantum jump by preserving the monthly quota of energy provided to every man and woman by God Almighty.

Enlightenment can only be gained in the 8.4 millionth manifestation... never before! In whatever stage of life one is... once we undertake the spiritual journey... it becomes imperative for us to complete the journey! It simply does not matter to know which part of the journey we presently are in! What is of essence is... can we reach the end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation in present life or not!

Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... if we do not travel the spiritual path now... we shall not get another opportunity! The command of next life... the next manifestation shall rest with the new manifested form... not us!

Depending upon the residual balance of karma from previous manifestations... human beings change forms one after another... rather the soul atman within keeps changing the garb... Life after life... body after body!

If the residual balance of karma demands one taking birth in the house of a cobbler... we simply cannot manifest the form of a prince! We cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree! As we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more, so says the law of karma!

Whatever the residual balance of karma from the previous manifestation... we have already taken birth in present life. Whatever be our karma in present life... after the death of the body our soul atman shall manifest a body accordingly!

Almost 6500 million people exist on Mother Earth... what more combinations of life we desire? From the angle of spirituality it is immaterial where we stand on the spiritual path... what is of importance is... whether we travel the spiritual path now or not!

Let us not talk about past lives... or the future manifestations! As the fruits of karma always belong to the soul atman within, our present form... our present life is limited to the life of 70 to 80 years in the present manifestation! We cannot change our past... but we can definitely mold our future by enacting positive karma (Punya karma) all the time.

The form of a human being is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as human beings the soul atman within regains its lost original pure pristine form... never otherwise! The journey in the human form is the most pleasant experience for the soul within. Traveling the spiritual path by human beings is not our necessity... but a requirement of the soul atman!

Full text of query: I read that there are 1.1 million human manifestations alone out of 8.4 millions total.One of your articles say and i quote "And unless and until one reaches the last manifestation in the cosmic life (the 8.4 millionth manifestation) our atman the soul within cannot get liberated from the cycle of birth and death"

Does that mean that out of the 1.1 million human manifestation only the 1.1 millionth one can attain liberation and not the other human manifestation? What stage am I in this journey of 1.1 million manifestations? That brings another question.What are the other variations of human beings?
