Purity of Soul

Query: Purity of Soul...

Vijay Kumar:
Who said the soul is pure. It is as pure as 1 kg of metal in hundred kilograms of ore. To remove the impurities within... to remove the 99% impurities and separate 1 kg of metal... every soul atman requires a series of 8.4 million manifestations and a life journey of 96.4 million earthly years. Only then the soul atman regains its pure original pristine form and goes back to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism).

If all souls' atmans in the Cosmos were pure... the need for a Cosmos would not have arisen. The sole purpose of cosmic life is all souls' atmans gaining release from the cycle of birth and death... the manifest life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations. The moment all souls atmans reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... the last leg in the cosmic life cycle... it is all over for the present Cosmos.

That very moment... the whole Cosmos would collapse. The dissolution of the Cosmos that would result... Would end in the whole Cosmos reducing to the size of half a thumb! This half a thumb is the volume of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time. Unable to contain itself for long in this highly volatile state... the cluster of all purified souls atoms again explodes with a big bang... giving rise to a new cosmos... a new cosmic life cycle!

Every soul atman starts its cosmic journey as an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation! It subsequently evolves into multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of a human being. For each and every soul atman... this journey of cosmic life continues until every human being reaches the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation (moksha).
