God Almighty

Query: God Almighty... One question... if one's ultimate goal of life is to find place in God Almighty and if we were the part of God initially then why we have been rolled through the part of these millenniums manifestations.

Imagine if the bacteria existing within our body would ask this question! Would it all matter that much... no! Why? Only because the bacteria being a single cell formation does not have the right to ask such a question! Then why do human beings... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle ask... "In the first place... why at all God created the cosmic system".

The answer to this question is simple but not comprehensible by most human beings! Only when one gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) does the entire picture of the Cosmos become clear. Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism is silent in the matter... it rather prohibits human beings asking this question. Why?

Of all the questions why does the Sacred Bhagavad Gita prohibit asking of this question! It is for the simple reason that existence of God Almighty itself would be at stake! If the big bang occurs... it does! If God Almighty exists... it simply exists! If souls' atmans manifest bodies after another... they simply do! We are not supposed to question God Almighty in the affairs of his!

Looking deeply into the cosmic affairs we find the Cosmos without a boundary. If we assume there is a boundary... then what beyond! If the Cosmos is endless... without a boundary... does it negate the presence of the entire Cosmos and God Almighty! Yes... it seems so! The doctrine of Maya (veil of illusion) as projected by Adi Shankaracharya seems to hold good.

As per the doctrine of Maya... everything in the cosmic system is a veil of illusion. Nothing truly exists in the whole of Cosmos. As per the doctrine of Maya God Almighty is the only truth of life! The existence of the entire Cosmos as per the doctrine of Maya exists as if in a dream. For a bacterium God Almighty carries no meaning.

In terms of ignorant human beings the entire Cosmos... God Almighty carries no meaning! If the Cosmos does not have a boundary... the doctrine of Maya seems to hold good! As per the doctrine of Maya the entire Cosmos is but a thought of God... the prime reason why Bhagavad Gita prohibits asking, "Why God Almighty created the Cosmos in the first place".

If entire precepts of the cosmic world become clear to mankind in a go... the need to manifest a body again and again by the soul atman within would not arise! God Almighty ordained a total journey of 96.4 million earthly years for the soul atman to become liberated forever from the cycle of birth and death.

Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last as human beings... the crux of life is... it is our soul atman that has manifested the body to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! In the circumstances human being questioning the authority of God Almighty negates itself. The life in human form is but the path for the soul atman within.

The birth of a human being is simply not in the hands of one... why question God Almighty about the creation of Cosmos? Even if we come to know the correct answer... is there a remedy to come out of the vicious circle of life... gain emancipation forever from the cycle of birth and death early.

Enlightenment and salvation can never be gained otherwise. One needs traveling the path of spirituality truthfully and sincerely. There are no short cuts on the spiritual path. The path of spirituality is not defined but uncharted! As many human beings... as many paths to God can there be. Our duty is to keep traveling and follow the spiritual path at the earliest possible!

Every human being has a total of 1.1 million manifestations to reach the stage of Enlightenment and salvation. The journey is long but not unachievable! If we have a definite goal of life... we definitely would succeed in our attempts! It is in our interest not to question God Almighty in the affairs of his. We would not achieve anything worthwhile by questioning God Almighty.
